An Officer’s Breast Eagle consisting of a blue enamelled Romanian Cross with clusters of nine gilt rays in eac (Schutzmannschaft Mützenabzeichen)(Kriegsmarine Brustadler fr Offiziere). Constructed of dark blue wool, the obverse bearing a hand embroidered Kriegsmarine eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika and executed in a combined gold bullion wire and celleon threading, unmarked, measuring 92 mm (w) x 40 mm (h), demonstrating minor material fatigue throughout, in uniform removed and better than very fine condition.
