A 1942 Second War Garrison Side Cap GTRexclude reverse marked SILBER 900United States; Type II; Fabricated from khaki cotton, designed with a fold down panel that extends around the perimeter of the cap, the ends of which overlap on the front, the entire upper edge of which is trimmed in light blue embroidered cord, with two rising peaks forming a valley, inside is stamped in black ink "M 9703" and size stamped "7 1 4" on the sweatband on the right side, label stitched in place to the seam on the same side above the size
