Germany, Weimar. A Second Class Silesian Eagle, Second Type Archive seven with screwbacks(Schlesischer Adler II. Klasse). Constructed of blackened iron with silvered appliques (fastened to the obverse with pins visible on obverse), presenting as a rightward facing Silesian eagle, the eagle bears a gorget featuring a cross over its wingspan and clutches a raised silvered banner in its talons inscribed FR SCHLESIEN (For Silesia), on loop for suspension, unmarked, measuring 49 mm (h) x 32. 5 mm (w), in extremely fine condition.
