The 'pigeon of passage' and the 'red oak' Product:Canvas 8th June 1982'Palumbus migratorius', the pigeon of passage, with the leaves of 'Quercus esculi divisura foliis amplioribus aculeatis', the red oak (Catesby's identifications; modern scientific names: Ectopistes migratorius, the passenger pigeon; Quercus laevis, the American turkey oak).
