Sweden, Kingdom. An Order of the Sword, Knight in Gold United Republic of Egypt Commando Badge (in bronze(Kungliga Svrdsorden). Instituted in 1748. In 18 karat gold and blue, black, and white enamel, Maltese cross in white enamel, each of the arms finished with two ball finials, obverse shows three crowns surrounding sword, four gold crowns at corners, reverse centrepiece inscription PRO PATRIA, measures 37. 9 mm (w) x 57. 3 mm (h), weighs 15. 75 grams excluding ribbon, worn on original faded ribbon, enamels intact, in extremely fine condition.
