Germany, Republic. A Heavy Athletic Sports Association (Dasv) Golden Sports Badge, By Eugen Schmidhäussler Archive German forces(Deutscher Athletik Sportverband Mitgliedsabzeichen in Gold). Constructed of gilded bronze, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, tied together at the bottom by a ribbon with a date of 1891, with central initials DASV, the reverse with a horizontal pinback and makers mark of E. SCHMIDHUSSLER, PFORZHEIM, measuring 43. 18 mm (w) x 38. 00 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
