A Patriarchal Cross, C.1961 Auction There are three cotton-lined pocketsThis is an extremely well preserved Patriarchal Cross of the Romanian Orthodox Church, constructed of silver with blue enamels and faux ruby gemstones. The award presents as four inter connected Romanian Crosses, with silver borders and blue enameled arms, joined to a central medallion bearing the name and monogram of Patriarch Justinian (Ioan) Marina. The reverse has a central engraved inscription of PATRIARHIA ROMANA II. Suspended from the bottom
