The Bottle John Preston Neale invites the public to his'The Bottle', 1847; showing the interior of a prison with the daughter and son visiting their father. Due to the effects of excessive alcohol consumption the mother and youngest child have already died, the daughter and son have been living a life of vice on the streets and the father has become a maniac.
