then transferred to Barnwell Military Hospital in Cambridge until being discharged on December 22nd

Constructed of black wool, the obverse trimmed along both the top and bottom edges with silver aluminum wire tresses, bearing a central silver aluminum wire inscription of GRODEUTSCHLAND executed in Stterlin script, the reverse notably demonstrating an unusual red guide thread, unmarked, measuring 34 mm (w) x 390 mm (l), in uniform removed and extremely fine condition.
