Germany, Luftwaffe. A Summer Flight Suit Heer. A Flak/Artillery Hauptmann’s Service Tunic Hennesdorf joined the 1st Battalion(Luftwaffe Fliegerschutzanzug). A very well preserved Luftwaffe summer flight suit, constructed of a light olive drab cotton blend with a gentle herringbone twill (HBT) weave. It features a turned down collar and triple frontal zipper arrangement to allow the wearer to step in and out of the garment, with the lower zipper functioning as a fly. The cuff of each sleeve has a zipper fastening closed with an integral strap retaining a snap button. Dual
