It is dated to October 31, 1942 and signed in blue ink by the leader of Kampfgruppe Scherer, Generalmajor Theodor Scherer (18891951), a recipient of the Knights Cross with Oak Leaves. Measuring 135x200mm, extremely fine condition with minimal creasing and two minor scratches.
