Bulgaria, Kingdom. An Order of Civil Merit, Sixth Class with Crown in Case, c.1944 United Republic of incorrectly attached to a knight’s( ). Instituted in 1900. Type III (1944 1946). In silvered white metal, measuring 46. 3 mm (w) x 72. 8 mm (h inclusive of its crown suspension), on original triangular ribbon, extremely fine. In original case of issue, red leather with gilt embossing, black velvet medal bed, strong catch, very fine.
