A First War Iron Cross First Class 1914; Named To Otto Mayer Hold He sailed from LiverpoolSilver frame, with iron core, magnetic, maker marked "KO" (Knigliches Munzamt Orden, Berlin) and engraved "Otto Mayer" in large Gothic letters on the reverse, 43. 5 mm, vertical pinback, crazing in the black paint on the arms, scattered tarnishing in the silver portions, better than very fine.
