In silver, with Savoya text "LA CRIMEA 1855", measuring 36. 8 mm in diameter, dark patina, light contact, on incorrect ribbon, near extremely fine. Footnote: The Turkish Crimean War Medal is a campaign medal issued by Sultan Abdlmecid I of the Ottoman Empire, to allied military personnel involved in the Crimean War of 1854 1856. It was only awarded to those who survived the war and not to the next of kin.
