Footnote: The Battalion was raised in Sault Ste. Marie in Northern Ontario with mobilization headquarters at Niagara Falls, Ontario under the authority of G. O. 86, July 1, 1915. The Battalion sailed November 27, 1915 under the command of Lieutenant Colonel C. F. Bick with a strength of 40 officers and 1,104 other
