Constructed of silvered magnetic metal, horizontal pinback, the obverse bearing a biplane, circumscribed by an inscription of NS FLIEGERKORPS GRUPPE 16 (SDWEST) GROSSFLUGTAG MANNHEIM 19. JUNI 1938 (NATIONAL SOCIALIST FLYERS CORPS GROUPE 16 (SOUTHWEST) FLIGHT DAY MANNHEIM 19 JUNE 1938), measuring 40 mm in diameter, a scarce badge in extremely fine condition.
