Russia, Imperial. An Order of St. Vladimir, IV Class, by Keibel, c.1917 consisting of a blue enamelled Romanian Cross with clusters of nine gilt rays in eac Inhaber Cross with Swords( , 4 ). Instituted 3 October 1782 (22 September O. S.) by Empress Catherine II. Constructed of gilded bronze with multi coloured enamels, consisting of a Cross Patte with red enameled arms trimmed with black enamelled borders, the obverse bearing a central black enamelled medallion overlaid by a hand painted ermine mantle, topped by a crown presenting a monogram of Saint Vladimir, situated within a gilded ring, the reverse bearing a central black
