then enlisted as a Midshipman at the United States Naval Academy from 1909-1912
He was Killed in Action on August 17
later being named Acting Conductor on August 1st
Merit Order Of Bavarian Crown Hold 1901-02 King's South Africa MedalMerit Order of Bavarian Crown Commanders Cross, in silver gilt and enamels (WWI period issue) 53mm (x80mm including crown suspension), inside of ribbon loop marked "Jacob Laser 950", bottom of the badge marked JL, of excellent quality manufacture, slightly worn, with long original ribbon, in extremely fine condition.
