Constructed of gilded tombak, composed of an oak leaf wreath with a German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika at the top, centre features representation of exploding sea mine in water, reverse presents plain with barrel hinge and round wire catch for missing vertical pinback, unmarked, measuring 43. 15 (w) x 53. 92 mm (h) and weighing 26. 4 grams, in very fine condition.
