Spain, Kingdom. An Order of Isabella the Catholic, Grand Cross, c.1900 Newly Listed the reverse with dates “1881-1894”(Orden de Isabel la Catlica). Instituted March 24, 1815. A Grand Cross, in silver gilt, presenting a four point cross of red enamelled arms with large ball finials, between each arm sits a cluster of seven smooth rays, the obverse medallion features the hand painted insignia of the order, surrounded by a white enamel banner inscribed A LA LEALTAD ACRISOLADA, the reverse medallion features a blue enamel field with the crowned FR monogram encircled by a
