Mid-Size Carbide Hollowing Tool GL01-09 This product is considered specialThe first stage in turning a hollow form is to begin removing the bulk of the material from the center of the vessel. This process is accomplished with the No. 1 tool which is designed to bore holes as small as 5 8" in diameter. Featuring a 1 2" wide stainless tool post, the tool can safely be extended 4 1 2" past the tool rest to accomplish this task. This versatile tool is great for hollowing, but be sure to try it on your bowls, coves, and pens
