Constructed of silvered bronze with multi coloured enamels, the obverse consisting of an off white enameled rectangular field featuring a finely detailed rippling motif, trimmed with a black enameled border featuring silvered designs, and overlaid by a black enameled 1914 Iron Cross with details executed in silver, the reverse with a clip hinge and horizontal pinback meeting a rounded catch, unmarked, measuring 40 mm (w) x 28 mm (h), in
