Multi piece construction, eight pointed silver star base, the centrepiece in silver gilt with blue enamels and a large red bead in the centre, the smaller bead in the single eight pointed star designating the grade has been lost to time, 82. 5 mm x 83. 5 mm, vertical pinback, centrepiece insignia has been turned 180 degrees versus its eight pointed star base, traces of gilt remain, chipping and loss evident in the blue
