Germany, Luftwaffe. A Bomber Pilot’s Clasp, Silver Grade Hold measuring 72 mm (h)(Frontflugspange fr Kampf und Sturzkampfflieger in Silber). Constructed of silvered tombak, the obverse consisting of a central winged bomb, inside of a round laurel wreath joined at the bottom by a swastika, flanked on each side by nine oak leaves, the reverse with a barrel hinge and tapering horizontal pinback meeting a round wire catch, unmarked, measuring 76. 42 mm (w) x 25. 09 mm (h), in near extremely fine condition.
