Order Of Combatant Merit Archive comprising: Iron Cross Second ClassOrder of Combatant Merit Silver and green enamels, gilt centrepieces, 38. 5 mm x 40 mm, light contact, extremely fine. This order was created on September 14, 1953 to recognize the leaders of organizations whose aim was the support former combatants and victims of war. Insignia were made by Arthus Bertrand, Paris.
