Saxony, Kingdom. An Albert Order, I Class Commander’s Cross, c. 1917 Province of China and Mother Heroine Medal (two-piece(Albrechtsorden Komturkreuz I. Klasse, 2. Form). Instituted 31 December 1850 by King Friedrich August II. (1876 1918 issue). Constructed of gilded silver with multi coloured enamels, consisting of a Latin Cross with white enameled arms, joined through the quadrants by a finely detailed green enameled oak leaf wreath, the obverse bearing a central white enameled medallion overlaid by a gilded and rightward facing profile of Duke Albert III, situated
