A Cased United States Legion of Merit, Legionnaire Grade. (Instituted July 20th, 1942). Constructed of gilded bronze, on a fixed loop and swivel ring for suspension from its multi coloured ribbon with a functional horizontal pinback assembly, consisting of a five armed Maltese Cross with red and white enameled arms, ball finals, and a green enameled laurel wreath between the arms of the
