The Badge in silver gilt and bronze, consisting of a ten pointed star with clusters of faceted rays, the obverse center is a five pointed star in light and dark blue enamel, decorated with Islamic inscriptions, the obverse centerpiece bearing the word REPUBLIC in Arabic on a red enamel field, the reverse plain, marked with town mark and lotus blossom denoting silver fineness post 1946, measuring 62. 78 mm (w) x 82.
