Starting with braided fiberglass yarns in a flexible substrate; it is then coated with a high grade silicone rubber. This rugged silicone coating makes the Fire Shield Sleeve resistant to most chemicals including hydraulic fluids, oils, and fuels. The coating also makes it resistant to abrasion and fraying. You can also use
