Germany, Federal Republic. A Blockade Runner Badge, Silver Grade, Alternative 1957 Version United Republic of BALDAUF MARIENBERG" on their reverses(Abzeichen fr Blockadebrecher). Reinstituted 1957. Constructed of metal alloy, the obverse consisting of a silvered German national eagle grasping the bow of a merchant vessel cutting through a chain symbolizing the British naval blockade of Germany, vertical pinback, unmarked, measuring 49 mm in diameter, in mint condition.
