Germany, Wehrmacht. A Narvik Shield Newly Listed the full-size version constructed of(Narvik Schild). Constructed of stamped gilt feinzink; the shield featuring national eagle with swooped down wings, clutching a wreathed swastika; inscribed Narvik in capital letters, with an Edelweiss flower (representing the Heer) in the center between the date 1940 and a crossed anchor (representing the Kriegsmarine) and propeller (representing the Luftwaffe) on the obverse; all four prongs broken off on the reverse; measuring 42 mm (w) x 91 mm
