In silver, the obverse bearing Franz Joseph, the reverse bearing the inscription DER TAPFERKEIT, with older style Stielhenkelose suspension, measures 40. 4 mm in diameter, worn on original ribbon demonstrating heavy wear and fraying of white silk, heavy gilt wear, and edge bruising, in fine condition.
