Germany, Heer. An Enlisted/Nco Dress Sabre, By Carl Eickhorn GTRexclude A 1937 Braunschweig City District(Heer Sbel). A well preserved Heer Enlisted NCO dress sabre, measuring 980 mm in total length when inserted into the scabbard. It features an 825 mm long curved and polished magnetic steel blade with a sharpened tip and semi sharpened low edge, and with a fuller running down the length of each side. It is plain with the exception of a makers mark near the reverse ricasso reading ORIGINAL EICKHORN, SOLINGEN, circumscribing the firms classic logo of a
