Constructed of silver, the obverse bearing a detailed leftward facing profile of Queen Maria Theresa of Bavaria, circumscribed by name and title, the reverse bearing a raised depiction of two uniform and weary Bavarian soldiers, topped by a radiant Geneva Cross and above a Bavarian national shield flanked by dates 1914 1917, the obverse designer marked H. SCHWEGERLE for sculptor Hans Schwegerle, the
