Royal banquet Mercedes Many of the early FellowsRoyal banquet, 15th century, (1910). At this time the pourpoint a short jacket was worn with mahoitres padded shoulders. Long poleyns, shoes which were stuffed and padded to prevent them folding over, were worn by the serving men and minstrels too.
