Badge: in silver gilt with red and white enamels, with the crowned cypher of Frederick IX (1947 1972), measuring 41. 5 mm (w) x 81. 8 mm (h); and Breast Star: in silver with red enamels, text characters and crowned cypher in Gold affixed to the cross, maker marked "AM" surmounted by a crown (Anton Michelsen, Copenhagen) and marked "925S" (silver) on the reverse, measuring 54. 7 mm (w) x
