Constructed of silvered aluminum, the obverse consisting of a round oak leaf wreath with a large mobile swastika in the centre of the award, that is circumscribed FR DIENSTE IM LUFTSCHUTZ (FOR SERVICES IN AIR RAID PROTECTION), reverse presents the date 1938, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, unmarked, measuring 39. 97 mm in diameter, in near extremely fine condition.
