Constructed of gilded bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse consisting of central intgerated monograms of Kaiser Wihelm I and Augusta of Saxe Weimar Eisenach, circumscribed by an inscription of 11 JUNI 1829 1879, topped by a German State Crown, the reverse with central coats of arms of Prussia and and Saxe Weimar
