In its hardshelled case of issue, cypher of Tsar Alexander I (reign 1879 1886) on the lid, maker marked "JOH. SCHWERDTNER WIEN" on the inside lid, soiled recessed medal bed, wear evident in the fabric overlying the hinged area, scuffing and wear evident on the exterior, case near fine.
