A ‘S-Gravenhage (The Hague) First Model Municipal Police Pith Helmet, C.1930 Newly Listed HermenegildoA very well preserved s Gravenhage (The Hague) Municipal Police pith helmet, constructed of a sholapith shell, with the exterior lined with dark purple canvas. The crown features a removable reinforced canvas topper covering the ventilation shaft. The helmet is flanked on each side by dual ventilation holes, and is wrapped with a blackened leather band.
