This is a striking pair of Japanese style faceted pottery cups with what I believe is a Yunomi form

It is signed 683 Italy in yellow-orange on the bottom

with just a very small amount of loosening/loss of the embroidery in a couple of spots (as documented in photos)

Very good condition in original box
