When attached to the body of the camera, it provides support for the right hand and thus supports stable and safe shooting even one handed. The handgrip is equipped with a 1 4 screw thread for mounting on a tripod. It is not possible to use the handgrip in combination with a halfcase on the Leica D Lux 8.
