Vintage Bamboo Kids Ski Poles - Red Chalet Decor I have kept these inVintage Bamboo Kids Ski Poles c. 1950's, 20th Century Wood, leather, metal 36" tall, 5" basket diameter Vintage Winter A great pair of poles with some original red. Bamboo shafts with leather cap and hand straps. They have double basket rings with nice leather strapping (slight damage on one). A great set in good condition. Single poles were used until about 1910 and made of a hardwood (hickory, willow, oak, etc.) to be sturdy and strong push sticks.
