I found this absolutely radiant vintage pottery vase by Eleanor (Sandy) and Foster Beveridge at the same estate sale where I found a pair of Lorenzen Lantz mushroom sculptures

I believe this unusual mid-century Bitossi ceramic vessel once had a stopper and was made to function as a decanter--and a fabulous one I think it would make

With its great architectural handle (which perfectly accommodates two fingers) and flat pedestal base, it's a lot of fun to use and with super 1980s shiny spattered glazing, pretty great looking too. If not for morning coffee, a terrific planter for a cactus or succulent. Excellent condition. Signed on the bottom with what I think is a "Z". 4" tall, 4 1 4" across at
